LKOC Spring General Membership Meeting & Luncheon

Please join us for our annual Spring General Membership Meeting and Luncheon at Banyans Craft Kitchen and Lounge, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, where we will elect our new Board of Directors for the coming year.

Our guest speaker will be Roxanne Adams, Administrator of the City & County Division of Urban Forestry, whom we have been working closely with over the past year regarding tree planting projects in Kailua. We are excited to hear her perspective and insights regarding how DUF works, the challenges they face, and the process of how local organizations like ours can get involved in helping their tree planting efforts.

Lunch buffet will feature a chef-curated menu with a delicious Caesar salad, a selection of Mushroom Risotto and Chicken entrées, and Raspberry dessert from Banyans’ award-winning Chef Cidney Wilcox, past winner of Food Network’s “Chopped”, and this year’s Chamber of Commerce winner of “Best New Business in Kailua”. Cost is $50 per person.

As a special treat during lunch, we will have a fashion show featuring creations from local Kailua retailer Classic Waves Boutique, this year’s Chamber of Commerce winner for “Outstanding Business in Kailua”.

Street parking is limited, so we encourage carpooling, but 20 spaces will be available at the Windward Buddhist Temple behind the restaurant, accessed from Kuulei Road, as well in the municipal lot across the street, with easy access via a pathway to Maluniu Avenue.
