The Lani-Kailua Outdoor Circle is dedicated to beautifying Kailua!
For the past 75 years, the Lani-Kailua Branch of the Outdoor Circle has been dedicated to beautifying Kailua by planting and maintaining trees and landscaping in public spaces, performing community cleanup activities, advocating for environmental causes, and educating the next generation to be good environmental stewards, all of which have had a positive impact on the livability and sustainability of our community. This is our mission, to foster stewardship of the legacy we have all been bequeathed.
Thanks to these efforts, residents and businesses in Kailua, and the general public, enjoy the benefits of tree-lined streets, public parks, schools, and open space with quality shade trees and a biodiversity of plantings. Our educational and environmental outreach projects have fostered generations of stewards of the environment. Our advocacy efforts have been dedicated to preserving open space, scenic vistas, wetlands, and green belts, as well as keeping our community free of signage clutter.
